Intro i'm rebuilding my aquaponics system with a new greenhouse. i decided that i would try to automate as much as possible due to the fact that i travel often for work.. This instructable covers certain aspects of building an aquaponic system. i use an arduino micocontroller to regulate the frequency of system cycling.if you an to build an aquaponic system, other instructables, blogs, books should be consulted prior to building.. It is actually quite easy to grow anything in an aquaponic system, having the perfect system with fish and plants using good bacteria to break down the ammonia to nitrogen the plants thrive on. below is a picture of two chocolate mint plants. one was grown in a pot with water from the hose and the other was watered from an aquaponic system..
